Anyone who knows me very well can tell you that horror has always been my thing. There’s just something about watching a movie that’s made so well that you just don’t know what’s about to happen next. Whether it’s a mind-twisting psychological thriller or a straight-up creepy ghost story, I love a movie that pulls me in and makes me feel like I’m right there in it. So, when I came across the trailer for A Blind Bargain, I knew I had to check it out. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

I just watched the trailer for A Blind Bargain, and it’s honestly mesmerizing. The eerie vibe, vintage feel, and psychological horror elements come together perfectly. It feels both nostalgic and completely fresh at the same time. Paul Bunnell directs this reimagining of the lost 1922 Lon Chaney silent film, taking us back to 1970. The result? A suspenseful, visually stunning film trailer that instantly grabs your attention.
The cast is stacked. Crispin Glover, Jake Horowitz, Lucy Loken, Annalisa Cochrane, Amy Wright, Sean Whalen, Jed Rowen, and Rob Mayes as Vincent all bring serious screen presence. Even in the short clips from the trailer, their performances feel deep and intense. It makes me even more excited to see how their characters play out in the full film.

This movie looks haunting in the best way. Paul Bunnell said in the trailer’s YouTube description, “I wanted to make A Blind Bargain seem like it could have been an episode of Rod Serling’s NIGHT GALLERY, and I believe I have achieved this to my satisfaction.” And honestly? He did. The lighting, the cinematography, and the pacing all scream 1970s supernatural thriller but with a modern edge.
The musical composition added so much to the already eerie tone of the trailer. The sound definitely helped keep me on edge the entire time. The trailer teases just enough to make me want more, without giving away too much, which I love. If you’re a fan of psychological thrillers, classic horror influences, and immersive storytelling, A Blind Bargain is a film you don’t want to miss.
